At Dunvegan Primary, we love to celebrate the successes of our wonderful pupils. We have weekly assemblies, where our children are celebrated for their work in school and at home. WOW certificates are sent to school telling us what the children have been doing at home, whether it is helping to tidy up at home, being kind to a sibling, helping an elderly neighbour or helping to make the dinner. For each WOW certificate, the pupils will receive 50 squad points towards their squad total. Each week, teachers nominate a ‘Star of the Week’ for their class. These pupils get to keep the ‘Star of the Week’ trophy on their desk for the week, and get to enjoy a hot chocolate with the Head Teacher.

26th September – Maths Week Scotland
GM 4-7 pupils took part in Maths Week Scotland – they were competing with schools from all over Scotland. They were 4th school over all, but the 3rd primary school. We were super proud of them all for taking part.
