Our Squad Leaders were presented with their official ‘Squad Leader’ badge at assembly on Friday 19th September. Extra squad points will be presented to leaders who wear their badge at weekly assemblies.

Our squads have had a bit of a refresh this term, new squad leaders and new names. We now have The Blue Men of the Minch, The Castle Dragons, MacLeod’s Maidens & The Faeries of the Flag. Our squad leaders were presented with ‘Squad Leader Badges’ last week at assembly, and we hope that they will be proud to wear their badges daily. They work together with their squads to win squad points for good behaviour in class, helpfulness around the school, kindness towards others and all sorts of other positive behaviour and attitudes. At our weekly school assemblies, our squad leaders tally up their points and announce to the school who is currently in the lead. At the end of a term the squad with the most points get to have a squad reward.
All of our school pupils have been split into 4 Squad teams: Hot Huskies, Royal Rats, Cheeky Cheetahs and North West Jaguars . They work together with their squads to win squad points for good behaviour in class, helpfulness around the school, kindness towards others and all sorts of other positive behaviour and attitudes. At our weekly school assemblies, our squad leaders tally up their points and announce to the school who is currently in the lead. At the end of a term the squad with the most points get to have a squad reward. The winning squad then will get a choice of rewards, this can range from a pizza party, to an extra 15 minutes play time with their squad. The children have really enjoyed working with their ‘squad mates’ .
Squad rewards – June 25
Our North West Jaguars were the lucky winners this term, having accumulated the most squad points since we came back after the Easter break. Chris took our winners down to the Misty for ice cream – thank you to Jen & Piero for accommodating them all.
The Hot Huskies won the squad reward for a second time, and after great deliberation, they voted for a disco party. So, on Friday afternoon, the Hot Huskies boogied on down at the Rainbow Room Disco 🎶
